Contaminants in Rockledge’s Sewage Effluent
Below is a partial list of the substances found in Rockledge’s sewage effluent from the Rockledge Reclaimed ASR Bi-Monthly Water Quality Data Summary, February 2006 – June 2007
BEWARE! If you use sewage effluent on your home landscape use precaution to protect your health. During several of the tests on Rockledge reclaimed water, the Total Coliform bacteria have come back with a TNC (Too Numerous to Count) rating.

Reclaimed water is not potable. You would not want to drink reclaimed water or put it onto your vegetable garden and it should not be used within 75 feet of an outdoor eating establishment.
